I got some of these picks right today...
Hits:
ICGN
A simple easy win as this flat open fell from the start steadily. It flattened out before lunch and closed above the lows but still negative by over 5.5% today.
RENN
This proved an easy long entry on the 8 cross as outlined. A gap up near the lod that printed early just advanced nicely. A pull back did not deter it from continuing the rest of the way up. Closed north by over 12.5% today.
Misses:
EMAN
A likely loss, though at worst a small one. The noise candle soared above 6. The next candle had no range, but opened gapping down. The next one also. This fell to the flat line, and the closing price under was 2 cents below where it closed. It finished down by 0.5% today, but higher than it opened, due to the gapper.
Push:
YRCW
A gap up open already did not bode well for a short. This advanced clearly from the open, denying an entry. It peaked within an hour and faded the rest of the way, but never hit the flat line or reddened to enter. Closed lower than it opened but still positive by over 7% today due to the gapper. A no play.
MSVP
Another no play. This opened flat at the lod and went nowhere but slightly, almost imperceptibly up all day. It closed positive by a bit less than 0.5% today.
JAMN
Another no play. By following rules, you can avoid most bad entries and needless losses, like here. A slight gap down open rose for the first 2 minutes or so, greening. Then it headed down, and hit the flat line and actually reddened. This prevented any longs. It bounced a bit, then decayed all day into the close, which was negative by almost 10.5% today. Usually, do not enter a play before the 1st (5 minute) noise candle prints!
ALLT
Another good example of avoiding unforced losses. This gap up and crap from near the hod fell almost at once, going green to red and preventing any possible long. It stopped dropping about 30 minutes in, and went sideways most of the way, closing off of the lows but still down by over 1% today. A no play push.
Totals:
Daily record: W-2 L-1-P-4
66%
