Watchers for the 3-1-10 trading session

VSTNQ

First day of a Supernovae. This can go on longer, believe it or not. The trouble as always is finding shares if you do not want to be early. Could die as early as tomorrow though, since it went up 375% on Friday. Do not forget the short cover rally bounce that often provides a long entry if you cannot get borrows.

ACIW

First nominally down day of over extension short play. Daily doji suggests the party might be over. Look for green to red and fade to short, or a slight gap down and additional weakening to fade this gently over the day. This is a "real" stock with volume a bit too thin for my taste.

GHLV

Over extension short play, assuming no promotion (I have heard it is a re-pump) is driving the extension beginning February 8. In these plays waiting for the nice fall day of gentle fading is like watching paint dry but it pays the rent.

WAVX

Over extension short play. This is looking long in the tooth, but be careful, it has more lives than a cat.

NXTM

Over extension short play. Bullish engulfing candle on February 10. Seems to be itching for a rest.

HUSA

Over extenstion short play. Hardly rests, marching on. But it has to be profit-taken seriously soon, right?

WEL

Potential breakout long over 1.84 on strong volume. 1.80ish had been prior resistance which was tested unsucessfully several times. They report earnings on Tuesday so I am watching for moves up.

MCGC

This breakout which faded into the close Friday may have room to run and test 6, earnings related news in play over this week. If it can stay above 5, a long entry is possible. Some previous session support around 5.15. Short possible if it fails to hold the critical 5 level.

IFLG

Short only on serious weakness if it tanks below 7, preferably under 6.50. It might also be a long on spiking, but I am less convinced of that now. The "freebie" long play was the short covering rally the other day when Timothy Sykes cashed in his chips. Again, remember Supernovae short covering rallies are easy long play signals!

I am watching for upside potential on STTN and BRYN, but I doubt I will play either of these pumps either long or short, too late to the party. PSC, the BRYN promoter, is also pushing HSCO feverishly.
