Trade review 4-21-10

I hit a few of these out of the ballpark:

CUR

Pull back entry long near b/o zone happened near 10 A.M. east.

AERG

Nice gainer for another day, but you probably had to be in earlier unless willing to chase.

UNIS

I told you so! Alright, it was 50/50 in theory, but history repeated itself.

BGBR

I nailed this call. Admittedly, it appeared to have another few days of life, but what a play, along the lines of NXTH or CLRH indeed! Actually, not all the rapid mega dumps happen on open, and some act like this one.

BONU

Too cheap for my tastes, but after an opening rise, this fell.

TRMPQ

Too cheap again, but this rose slightly on open, went green to red, then reddened nicely.

GTF

Fade g/r was possible, at 9:45 EST if you caught it. I did not, but it worked out adequately.

NENG

Another day another dollar for many of you!

REED

Faded nicely. Many probably avoided this as it was a news related earnings play involving a "real" stock.

AVOE

Gap up slightly, then g/r sell off yielded a decent potential short, ending down over 23%

GRPR

Marched on at least one more day, as suspected.

Most of the cheap shorts I did not wish to play. I passed on the longs, but a few were valid but mostly chasing, like AERG.

I tried to short a few others, particularly BGBR as it was the play of the day, but IB had no shares as usual. My lists are what counts for subscribers, though, and I assume several you banked coin today.

I got up too late, but in pre-market, a dandy long scalp on DEAR after the news hit was possible from the gun, which I hope some of you caught and played!
