Trade review 4-27-10

I aced several calls today:

VSTNQ

This opened over 1.82 by a cent. Immediately the level failed, which was a short.

ROHI

Tanked nicely for a lot more red.

All the hot bank/financial picks corrected nicely, lost in the sea of selling in the broader market. An important lesson exists here, which is that the biggest flyers and runners are often the nicest shorts when the exits cram!

CHCI

Easy fade here, too.

PHHM

The herd booked some coin in the mad rush to sell the market.

GRPR

Early drop was a possible fade play.

APPY

While the recovered, early on the action was clearly aimed at booking profits.

CDXC

First down day, but only modestly,  resembling a red floater outcome.

HAST

Just dandy, the scared herd had to take profits.

LTS HMPR PVFC TUFF Did not play out as predicted or failed, so no credit.

Totals:
Daily record  W-14 L-4
77%

I was never at the computer until the last 10 minutes of the day. Logging in just time to see the break of an intraday double bottom on the SPY which probably caught some bottom fishers and would have been a trade if one had been there 10 minutes before. Many plays worked today. I hope several of you banked some coin!
