Trade review 5-12-10

I managed to get a few right:

Hits:

GSS

Gap up above 4.60 then advanced a bit for a mediocre green finish.

SVM

Gap up above 8.60 then advanced for a decent green finish.

SFMI

Biggest win today. Big gap up filled, presenting another long entry on red to green, ending up over 28%

Misses:

AAPH

This failed to breakout as hoped for, but closed at 0.96 so it was not too bad. May still be in play.

CUR

This failed to break out as hoped for, but closed at 3.22, so it was not too bad. May still be in play.

PRPG

Supernova gapped well down, then powered past the previous close intraday, finishing green. May still be in play for the shorts, but volume now is uninspiring, and it gained less than 6% today.

AZK

Gap down open slightly, then fading over 4% did not permit a long on a breakout as hoped for.

The after hours plays were also a mixed lot.

AGEN ended up all over the map, NLST built upon its gains after the gap up open. CRUS gapped up and then faded but finished ascending. KRY opened at its high and faded, while UXG gapped up was up and down intraday en route to a +5% finish. EVSI I wish had been on my official list, as the reddening continued nicely for a -13% finish. I hope some of you found shares to borrow and reserve to short that stock!
