Trade review 5-3-10

I got a few right:

Hits:

CSNT

We got our bounce, but the spike was a bit delayed. It faded later but finished green.

VIVK

Nailed this one, as the pump got dumped several minutes into the session going green to red for a -19% end.

Only one of the "pumpish" charts kept going. EPDS finished up over 25%  I am not counting these tickers.

DDIC

We got an excruciatingly boring fade out of this, as profits were taken, from red to green early and back.

FTBK

Bounce as suspected in premarket from the gun, but soon after it was halted, trapping long scalpers. This might end better for trapped shorts, assuming there are any. Did not resume trading today after being halted.

QCOR

Question answered as suspected, they briefly took the price over 9.81 then sold it off hard despite the Dow.

SPRT

Red to green entry a bit past 10 A.M EST, but uninspiring slow grind up ended green but not by very much.

Misses:

ANTS

No dice, the beat went on, although it did go red intraday, it finished up yet again.

FSNR

Printed a daily doji, so it may be very near having a red session, but it finished green on the day.

LEI

Continued to move up, frustrating the shorts. Since it opened strong, most intending to short today, did not.

OMNI

This tanked from the gun, we never got a 3.50 test, much less a 4 attempt. Profit taking continued all day.

The best play was the short of VIVK. I was not able to obtain shares, but it was a gimmie for those who did.
