Trade review 5-5-10

I got a few right:

Hits:

BIOD

Gap up, then fell early, going red to green later and closing up.

PDGO

Second best play today from the list, gained over 14% on the session. Gap up and go.

MMRF

Third best play, up over 11% on the day. Gap up and go.

EVSI

Best play of the day, up over 19% inching on as the session progressed.

Misses:

AKRX

Gap down, red to green, but faded later to close red.

LOOK

Gap down, opening at low, but recovered intraday. Took out previous high, then faded. The fake outs on this preclude credit in either direction.

LEI

Stubborn continues. These kinds of speculative energy plays can have 9 lives.

Totals:
Daily record: W-4 L-3
57%

The Dow continued its listless performance today, but at least it did not go down 200 points.

The bad news for penny stock pump and dump players, and even cheap stocks in general, is that when market conditions become weak or uncertain to the ordinary Joe, the number and quality of promotions and high flying cheapies tends to flounder.

Let's hope the market has not topped or that this is just a temporary correction before the party resumes!
