Watchers for the 5-18-10 trading session

Be cautious with longs. It is choppy. See Brian Shannon's daily S&P recap for quick and dirty easy insights:

BFAR

Supernovae scan still in play for Tuesday and ripening. Short on the usual weakness/profit taking cues if it pops.

IFLG

Be skeptical, be very dubious of their latest PR ploy. It faded later today somewhat after a mega move north  fueled additionally by panicking short covers, but it may have some down side reward yet. I am not sure this over Tuesday, but it might fade as soon as that. You can only PR the herd so many times before it fizzles.

HAUP

Despite its great decline on Monday, we might have some down side left, at least at the open. I hope it does not manifest itself only in a gap down, useful only to current shorts holding overnight. Get out the popcorn.

TTIL

Closed on hod. Ideally, you are in near today's close, but it may gap up and yield a quick up move initially.

OSTE

I am looking to fade this if it weakens. Near some recent resistance, though up after hours. Be patient.

FLPC

Pumped today by Beacon and Stock Preacher. Not sure if it dies (likely) Tuesday or continues, but it should be monitored from jump street tomorrow for an entry in either direction depending on the price action seen.

ANTS

This runner just keeps on going like the energizer bunny, but keep in mind it since the inception of the run it has pulled back after roughly 4 day spurts, and it has been that long since the last red candle. My suggestion here is to watch it from the gun, and let the price action decide which side of the fence to be on. You can usually tell when a stock like this is going to extend its run or if it is going to be a distribution day.

A couple of pumps I am watching unofficially for Tuesday are AMCG and SNWT Both could easily have more life for longs at least initially. Gap and crap pumps at untimely moments are a habit with some promoters, so be careful if trying to go long these early, even as scalps. All you can do is gauge the spam volume, for clues as to how much they expect to extract from suckers before dumping.
