Whisper's pick was AJGH while Beacon Penny Stocks Finder and Preacher all picked CAEH in the timed release gimmick parade. The former had some modest upside that faded as the day advanced, closing below the open but with the gap up it was positive by over 1% The latter had nominal upside right at the start and tanked the rest of the way for a great short, once it went from green to red. This was the best play on these by far.
I got a most of these picks correct:
Hits:
EVTN
Mission accomplished on the red floater, despite the decent gap down. It finished in the red by almost 8% the best it could do was head fake fill the gap a few times along the way.
AZGS
Ditto. Perfect call here, opening at the highs on a gap down. It faded all day en route to a red close of 13%+
PBTH
A absolutely nailed this one too. A beastly breakout continuation! After gapping up over 6.50 it soared most of the day, even though the Dow's late tumble shaved a bit of the profit off in the last hour. Up nearly 10%
MYMX
I aced this one, too. Over extended number opened flat at the high and faded en route to a down close of over 10% while the printed low wave stick shadow on the daily chart was even lower than the close.
PMMEF
I also aced this over extension play. It opened on a gap up right at the high, then faded all day en route to a red finish of over 6.5%
Misses:
CLDX
My bottom fishing expedition failed, at least it appears that way. It could be I am just a day or two early, but it is still a miss. DCTH also had plenty more red to give, which did not help matters. The Dow's behavior was a wash, as its up and down fortunes today seemed not to matter with respect to the fortune of either equity. Both of them pretty much faded all day into the close, with my bounce pick finishing down by 7% and change.
BTOW
Even EOD buyers got smoked here...again. Opening at highs on a sizable gap down, this faded all day en route to a down finish of over 29% and never yielded a scalp for the longs of any consequence. The bounce up 15 minutes in after the opening dump does not justify a claim of anything less than a miss.
Push:
GEECF
This strange mover finished unchanged, allowing me to claim a push. Very weird moves. Still watching it.
Totals:
Daily record: W-5 L-2 P-1
71%
My unofficial plays went as follows:
FRG
I aced this swing entry, despite it being overbought, arguably. This is a multi-day hold as it could easily pull back but as long as the trend in gold continues, the future may be bright. Finished up over 3% today.
DTSL
This fell another 14.5%+ despite the "pumpish" aroma of yesterday. Not sure what to make of it, if anything. Too cheap per share for any realistic participations, arguably. I will keep watching a while but that is all.
