Watchers for the 7-30-10 trading session

MBCI

Former Supernovae now a red floater scan return, this may yield additional down side for the shorts. Fade weakness only, watch live price action on Friday early to see which way the wind is blowing.

DNN

Still watching this one both ways. A red floater, this may continue to fade for a short entry early on, or continue to break out. Support near around 1.40 is noteworthy. I expect this will ultimately power higher in the next several days to continue the breakout, eventually eclipsing the recent 1.62 high, so be flexible here.

RMTR

Over extension play. Volume has not faded yet so do not jump the gun, tomorrow may not be it. Fade early weakness, which should surface soon. Ideally, we get a new high on much weaker volume, then the fall day on Monday, but we could get lucky on Friday, so watch it from now on until we get a clear move to act on.

NEWP

Daily doji print. This is an earnings play, on a firm that beat estimates, so be careful if trying to fade profit taking as soon as Friday. We could see this fly up out of the gate again on Friday, or some early sell off. It could therefore be in play both ways tomorrow, but put it on your radar. Live price action will decide things.

CRWN

We might see more early spiking here. As it is down after hours, a quick red to green might arise on Friday. Equally plausible is some sort of a gap and crap. Another play that will require fast assessment of live price action. Since it moved on essentially no news, I prefer to fade this on any dumping out of the gate. Nice consolidation to bust out of, this is a must watch stock on Friday. Unless new information arises, short biased.

Unofficial picks:

ENTR

I suck at most longs, but a nice sort of triangle breakout to the upside is the above ticker. A pull back entry long to near support in the mid 7.50s would fit the bill, as would any such entry on early strength above today's high of 8 bucks. We could see a gap and crap here at that level, but if it opens at 8, holds and runs on volume, a long might yield more coin on Friday.

HSWI
It keeps rising on not so amazing volume prints, which keep getting weaker. I see a fade entry very soon, possibly as early as Friday. Today we closed lower than the open, which means momentum short term may be petering out. They beat estimates, earnings related, but profit taking is always possible. New 52's, also, so be very careful if trying to short this. I hesitate to go long here without some type of pull back, it's up too much.

TRW

Not a penny play, but seems to be near triple topping, with resistance around 35 to 35.30ish or so. Borrows should be easy This is a short swing to be entered near the ceiling, preferably bouncing off from below on it, holding for a number of days. Cover would be discretionary, but at least 2% on a gain. Any squeeze above the resistance to reasonable degree should be covered, naturally, as that would mean a busted pattern.
