Trade review 6-20-11

I got some of these things right today...

An easy win as a gap down near the hod failed to fill, and then rapidly consistently traded under the opening price level for the fade entry. This continued in the morning, with sideways price action later on. It closed south by over 19.5% today.

A nominal gap down red to green from the lod filled over the flat line at once, and kept rising. The lasted much of the way and it closed up over 2.5% today.

A gap up filled and even fell under the flat line early, but soon went red to green for the long entry signal. It rose most of the day evenly, closing positive by over 14% today.

Same as the above. Early weakness filled the gap down with a red to green move that kept going, yielding a long signal. The good times lasted all session and it closed up over 6% today.

This finished unchanged relative to the previous session close, but it's a loss due to the price action sequence. A gap down began to weaken early, trading under the opening price level consistently. It soon rebounded, and gradually recovered. Eventually it evened with the flat line, so some losses occurred for the shorts.

Again, the price action sequence killed longs. It did not beat the Friday high, so several probably kept flat, but those who entered over the close last time lost money. It faded off as the day went on, but closed up over 2% today since it remained over the flat line.

Anyone entering on the red to green move following the flat open after noise candle weakness probably broke even or made peanuts at best. It visited the flat line again, bounced over another time, and held positive but a weak close made it finish up just a bit less than 0.5% today. Arguing this is a win is a bit much, but a push?

My off table pick POTG weakened from the start, trading under the opening price level consistently. It rebounded to the flat line but failed there, tapering off in the afternoon and it closed red by over 4% today. ADLR saw an early red to green move out of a flat open that hesitated. It gradually rose and closed up over 5% today. Both of these were easy calls for the alert.

Daily record: W-4 L-2-P-1
