Trade review 6-21-11

I got a couple of these things right today...

Hits:

NYNY

Opening near the hod, this fell at once, gradually decaying most of the day and closing south almost 19% today.

CHTP

A gap up with early weakness went red to green soon after. It eventually peaked, but retraced its move back to the flat line and nominally red. It soon rebounded and finished positive by over 1.5% today for a bare win.

Misses:

GBTR

A gap down fell more after the noise candle, which could have sucked in some shorts. Then it rallied to the flat line and beyond, closing strong up over 14% today.

NWL

A fake out loss for longs as this powered over 15.25 early, and could no sustain its greening. It stayed above the flat line but closed under the trigger point, ending up almost 1% today.

CT

This made a new high barely mid-morning, which could have triggered a losing long. It gradually fell under the flat line, and closed south by over 2% today. It did not overtake the previous high, but it did beat the close.

Push:

ID

After commissions, this probably broke even or a bit better. A flat open slowly greened, and inched above the flat line. It weakened at the end but still closed nominally positive.

GTXI

No play for longs as this gap down at the hod fell at once. It never triggered and kept decaying, closing down almost 8% today.
