I got some plays right today...
Hits:
HEARQ
A flat open at the hod began to decay from the start, yielding a short entry. A gradual decline followed and it closed negative by over 3% today.
GPLS
A gap up and crap from the hod fast fell red for the short and kept falling in the morning. Late morning it began to climb and closed off the lows, but still south by over 32% today.
BWOW
A gap down right at 2 printed the hod a few cents over that on the noise candle and dropped from the start. It stopped falling about 30 minutes and gradually rose, closing off the lows but still negative by over 13% today.
Misses:
SRI
A possible loss as this gap down moved sideways most of the day and then began to break out in the afternoon. After overtaking the opening price level, it failed at the flat line. Some longs could have been trapped. It closed weakly and ended down almost 5% today.
Push:
CLCT
A gap up and crap from the hod meant no rules following longs were trapped, since it dumped out of the gate going green to red pronto. 2 hours in it tried to gradually rise, but it failed to close the gap. Red by 2% today.
CBLI
A gap down near the hod fell from the bell, so no trigger occurred for a long. A no play. Closed red by over 10.5% today after it stopped dropping near lunch and moved sideways the remainder.
HW
This never triggered, opening on a clear gap down and not filling it at any time. It stayed under the flat line and eventually closed negative by over 14% today. A no play.
It's possible some longs banked on my off record pick OXGN when it eventually closed up over 3% today. But the probable entry point was above the close, so maybe not. It was a wild wide for anyone playing it.
