Trade review 9-15-11

I got a few plays right on this day...

Hits:

CWTR

The hod was on the noise candle, then it dove red early for the entry. Flat line challenges failed, and although it closed off of the lows, it still reddened by over 7% today.

ASCA

An easy win even for early buyers, since the initial 30 minute low held and an early red to green followed that never looked back with even rising. The gap up eventually closed north by over 3.5% today.

LF

Barely profitable after at teased at the trigger level until the afternoon. The probable entry point even on a poor exit probably banked a bit. Closed positive by over 5.5% today.

Misses:

SOMX

A gap up a cent under the hod still could have fake out longs, since later candles remained positive. It soon fell red though, trapping buyers. Flat line challenges fully held, and it closed weakly by nearly 6% today.

OPTR

Some shorts could have bit though this might qualify as a push, too. A gap up fell red on the noise candle briefly but closed above the flat line and previous close. A return trip or 2 reddened under that which could have caught some, though each candle closed above the trigger. Finished strongly up over 4.5% today.

Push:

LTS

An easy loss to avoid when a gap up at the hod and crap ensued from the open. A decay followed all session. This was a no play that closed down over 5% today.

PRMW

Fortunately, the gap up began to fall at once, and no new highs transpired, so longs never had a chance and were not faked out. It soon fell red, and a flat line challenge failed. A weak close ended matters south by over 4.5% today.
