I got a few picks right this session...
Hits:
AAGC
This new scan worked like a charm, opening on a gap down at the hod. It traveled sideways a while, then faded for an entry. It recovered slowly, but not enough to close the gap on the probable entry point. Red finish by almost 4.5% today.
KONA
Another gap down not far from the hod moved sideways and up from the open, but it began to fall under the opening price at lunch for the short entry. It continued to descend, recovering a bit but closed red by over 5.5% today.
Misses:
TSPT
The frustration continued for shorts as this gap down fell on the noise candle then advanced a bit. Soon it began to fall under the opening price, but that fade entry was equal or below the close. A loss with commissions or outright was likely. A later rally that did not close the gap occurred, then it meandered sideways most of the way, closing negative by over 5% today.
Push:
LINTA
A no play that never triggered for longs. A gap down weakened early without filling, then it meandered sideways without greening, closing south by almost 4% today.
AFFY
Another no play when a significant gap down fell even more out of the open, then bounced but failed to close the gap, much less trigger on the previous session high for longs. It moved sideways much of the way, before weakening into the close. Red finish by over 2% today.
HLLXF
A gap down near the hod never triggered for longs, as it fell from the start. It bounced a bit and went sideways, closing meekly and south by nearly 13.5% today. A no play.
HGSI
Still another gap down debut not far from the hod that fell early, rallied a bit, but failed to close the gap. Not triggering, longs had no play as it gradually fell most of the way, closing south by over 7% today.
