I got some of these plays right on this day...
Hits:
HRZ (new symbol HRZL)
This moved from the NYSE to OTC, so no trades occurred under the old symbol. But it picked up right where it left off in reddening, going down almost 14% today there. Opening just a cent up from the price of the close on the previous exchange a cent under the hod, it fell evenly from early on and was an easy fade.
GAME
This was a perfect play for longs, when a gap down open about 30 minutes to go red to green for the entry. It never fell back under again, though it closed weakly below the highs up over 2.5% today above likely entries.
Misses:
FUEL
This should have been a win for shorts, but it finished unchanged from the open in a doji print after dipping well red intra-day. After a nominal gap up, it fell under the previous close about 30 minutes in. Then it fell more, but abruptly floored around lunch time and came roaring back, even greening. Closed nominally up.
RTK
This looks like a win, but after the commission it's probably a nominal loss since the best likely entry on it was a cent above where it closed. A gap up fell under the flat line 15 minutes in, soon bottoming. It came back to even green, before closing weakly and down somewhat over 0.5% today.
DEXO
A classic fake out of longs when this advanced early over the trigger, but soon peaked and fell back under the flat for good before lunch. It steadily dropped all day and moved sideways into the close, red by over 7% today.
Push:
ORS
This soared north from the gun and kept going, so no sane short was ever faked out and likely kept flat. Closed strong, too, up over 52.5% today.
CMXI
Fortunately, longs were unlikely to have bit here. After a gap up open where the hod was printed on the noise candle, the next one could not take even that out, and it began decaying, never making new annual highs. Eventually it fell red, hit a bit over the flat line in the afternoon, and closed weakly on more subdued volume.
My unofficial watcher RAYS went unchanged, closing under the open on a gap up that filled.
