I got a play right today with a lot of obvious no play situations...
Hits:
THQI
An easy win for longs that advanced from the open, holding tests. It closed up nearly 3.5% today.
Misses:
HSTM
A fake out for longs when this triggered and sported more new yearly highs for several candles early on, before falling back under the flat line later on in the morning. It closed strong up a tad, but damage was done.
Push:
TKLC
This essentially advanced from the open, so shorts were not fake out and had no play. After a retreat held the opening price level, it just marched up all session steadily, en route to a green finish of over 7% today.
SRCH
No trigger for longs, as the high could only equal the close of yesterday without success on 3 tries. It faded into the finish, ending down close to 3% today.
OSK
I got the direction right, so this an arguable win of sorts, but it never hit the trigger on the upside, missing just a bit for longs to enter. Closed positive by over 2% today.
CPWR
A clear gap down printed the lod on the noise candle, so shorts were not faked out. But it gradually rose from then on, closing just barely under the flat line on a near fill that did not permit an entry.
BTFG
No fake outs on longs as this flat open went sideways and eventually down mid day. It never got over the previous close to enter. Ended south by over 3% today, after moving up a bit into the close.
