I got some plays right on this day...
Hits:
MNI
A simple win for shorts when a gap down began to fall out of the gate, trading under the open after the noise candle. Late morning it went sideways and up a bit into the close, ending red by over 7.5% today.
CYAN
A modest but clear win when a gap down near the hod fell out of the open, trading under the open after the noise candle. It continued to redden in the morning, traveled sideways most of the day and closed off the lows to end south by over 2% today. This recovery was likely still under the probable entry point.
CLLZF
Another easy if modest win (given the the low share price) after commissions when this gap down a cent or so under the hod began to trade under the open after the noise candle by an hour in. A slow fade ensued, and it closed south by nearly 4% today.
Misses:
FTWR
This looks like a win, but it's a likely loss. The difference between a blogger who accurately reports his records and one like me is I try not to fudge any of my results. Here, a gap up from the hod fell out of the box and soon hit the flat line. Once it crossed under, the likely entrance point was equal to eventual close, so after commissions this was a probable loss. Despite falling most of the afternoon, it advanced late and ended down a bit over 3% today which was deceiving, as I outlined above.
Push:
GTHP
A easy no play loss for longs to avoid when a gap up and crap fell at once from the open, panicking under the flat line soon after. It moved sideways with an up bias the remainder, but stayed negative by over 5.5% today.
KSWS
A clear no play push as a solid gap down not far from the hod fell at once. It rebounded but only exceeded the open by a cent momentarily. The gap did not fill and it never triggered. The rebound fell quickly, and a gradual decline set in the remainder. It closed red by over 6% today.
SPWR
A push since this gap down fell initially, then went red to green but did quite trigger, topping out just under it. Shortly after it headed back under the flat line, where it stayed. More reddening followed, before it rose in the afternoon. Closed negative by over 2% today on a no play that just barely missed triggering.
My off table pick THQI only thrived near the open. The gap up moved up a bit initially, but soon peaked and fell back to and under the flat line. It stayed negative the remainder, closing south by over 2% today.
Totals:
Daily record: W-3-L-1-P-3
75%
