I got a few picks right on this day...
Hits:
CAGC
Opening on a gap down at the hod, this fell from the gun for the fade entry win. It closed off of the lows but still negative by nearly 4.5% today.
CSIQ
A gap up and crap from the hod fell red early for the fade entry win. A flat line challenge failed and it continued to drift under there most all the way, closing south by at least 2.5% today.
Misses:
TGE
This gap up probably fooled at least some shorts today on a late day fade. It was strong early and gradually decayed, eventually going under the open near the end. It then rebounded a bit into the finish, closing unchanged but with commissions it would have been a fake out loss.
Push:
DEXO
A gap up advanced initially, peaking in an hour. Then it began to descend, eventually going red. It closed negative close to 2% following a recovery into the finish, but was likely a push after commissions given the likely entry point.
IDIX
No longs likely were fake out here when a gap up a cent under the hod fell out of the gate. After a quick green to red, it kept falling steadily most of the way, ending south by nearly 7% today.
LQMT
No longs were likely faked out here either, as a gap up and crap from the hod fell from the start. It rebounded, but could never take out the initial high/open. A weak close ensued, south by nearly 2.5% today.
VISN
A big gap down never triggered, printing the hod on the noise candle, which closed under the flat line. It spent the remainder of the day trading under the flat line, ending negative by over 11% today on a no play.
I did get a HUGE win on a gap up and go from near the lod on the Sucking Alpha day 2 try with ATHX which advanced over 30% today and is now up over 4% A/H. It's going to be an awesome short, soon!
