I got several plays right on this day...
Hits:
BDSI
A clear win for shorts when a gap up printed the hod on the noise candle. It soon fell under the flat line for the short entry. Decay followed until after lunch. It gradually rose in the afternoon, but could not close the gap, closing south by nearly 6% today.
REE
A simple win for longs on the 6 cross take and hold from a flat open at the lod. A gradual climb followed, and it closed positive by over 17.5% today.
HOGS
The over 10 play worked for longs here. It provided a pull back entry near the key level early, then it advanced. It retreated after an hour following trades over the opening price level. A strong closed followed and it ended north by over 4.5% today.
ALTI
A flat open at the lod advanced at once, triggering for longs. It kept rising for an hour, then moved sideways the rest of the way, en route to a green finish of over 9.5% today.
Misses:
CALX
A nominal loss for longs when it triggered twice, only to see it fall hard twice. Even discounting commissions this play failed. The flat line held, but the close was weak. It ended up close to 1% today but that was deceptive since it was likely under the entry point by a few cents.
Push:
ACHC
A gap down never triggered for longs and fell out of the gate, reddening all morning. A gradual climb ensued, but but it never closed the gap, ending south by over 1% today on a no play push.
UNIS
Shorts never had a play when a big gap up near the lod advanced early. It moved sideways and a bit down later on and into the close, but still finished noth by nearly 6.5% today. A push.
Off record pick PROT also worked well enough. A gap down and go greened and peaked in 30 minutes. Conservative longs would have banked. A big pull back held the opening price level by a few cents, and it rose over again for another long. Closed positive by over 9.5% today for the winning unofficial play.
