Trade review 2-27-12

I got some picks right today...

Hits:

SIRI

An early red to green for a long entry off a gap down. This stayed up all day, closing up nearly 1.5% today.

IMOS

A gap up decayed a bit out of the gate, then advanced, overtaking the initial high and yielding a long. This continued all session, ending positive by almost 13.5% today.

Misses:

AWSR

A fake out for shorts when a gap up fell out of the open, reddening. It did not last long, climbing to and over the flat line. It remained positive the remainder, closing up 10% today.

ELLI

A gap down advanced out of the box, then fell back to and under the flat line, eventually going under the open for the entry short. It then rose gently back to the flat line and hung around it, closing down a bit less than 1% but likely above the entry price for the fake out. Closed down almost 1% today but likely above the entry.

GBR

After falling initially, this went red to green early and made new highs, sucking in longs. It did not last long, though. It fell gradually back to and under the flat line, before closing down by at least around 3% today.

Push:

CEDC

A no play that failed to trigger. It began to dump out of the gate, not giving longs any shot. A rebound failed to take the flat line, then it moved sideways the remainder, closing south by around 4% today.

MERU

See above, another no trigger. Early decay with a failed flat line rebound that ended red by over 3.5% today.
