Trade review 4-18-12

I got a few plays right today...

Hits:

SNPK

What did I tell you guys? An amazing short panic late morning early lunch for the ages. Hope you all got shares! A wash out rally followed for a long bounce play, followed by even more predictable dumping to new lows. Days of gains gone in hours, just like I said. 2.50 never made it. Closed down by over 58.5% today.

SEED

A nice red to green move/2 cross for a long after a gap down debut early on. We peaked late morning and finished off of the highs but likely above the entry point. Ended positive by nearly 6% today.

Misses:

SEFE

Looks like a win but it's likely a loss. After an upward noise candle off a gap up, choppy price action all day eventually closed under the highs right around the probable entry point, (commission loss) up 3%+ today.

BBX

Another deceptive red finish of at least 0.5% to over 1% that is a likely loser. After a red noise candle, a few ones later where entry was probable was below the close, since after the 1st hour it was all uphill.

Push:

TISA

A gap up and near crap that fell after the doji noise candle. New annual highs were made on that stick. A measured turn down followed, and it ended south by over 5.5% today. A no play push for longs.

APRI

A 1 cent gap up failed to trigger, and fell early. A spike that closed under the flat line an hour or so in preceded immediate decay, which lasted until the close, red by over 3% today. A no play push.

MITK

A good thing this gap up near the hod fell at once, preventing any long biters from being burned. It fell under 6 early and never recovered, closing red by over 6% today.

Off table swing LFVN failed at 3. It closed down almost 4.5% after early  decay. The price action sequence, however, was obvious enough such that new longs were not fooled and holders were stopped out quick.
