I got some picks right on this day...
Hits:
LATI
Early sideways and up moves soon gave way to a green to red cross and short entry. It bottomed within an hour and change, and climbed slowly up from there, but the entry was likely above the close, south by nearly 4% on Tuesday.
EGT
A perfect bounce call with entry levels when this opened just under 0.75 and rose from there. It closed off of the highs, peaking in an hour or so, but still north by almost 4% on Tuesday.
Misses:
HTH
A loss for shorts on a whip saw when this 2 cent gap down fell after the noise candle early. Right after it filled to and over the flat line. It closed weakly, but only nominally negative and likely above the entry.
Push:
VPIG
A gap down 1 cent above the lod advanced on the noise candle, and did not make new lows from what was set on the aforementioned stick, so shorts never had a play. Rose gently until closing up nearly 6% Tuesday.
BDSI
A gap up a cent under the high which was set on the noise candle failed to make any more new highs and fell by 10 minutes in. It lingered around the flat line, en route to a nominally negative finish. A no play push.
ODP
A 1 cent gap up failed to trigger just barely, though it advanced a bit early. Then it fell to and under the flat line, closing weakly and down by over 1.5% on Tuesday. A no play push.
ANTH
Another no trigger when a 1 cent gap down advanced early. It almost triggered late morning, but came back down to the flat line. A weak close ensued, with a resulting no play push today.
Off record pick GRPN also worked off a gap and crap top fish fade from the open near the hod. It sold off steadily all session, closing up over 3.5% due to the gapper. A perfect call, though it gapped to 15 instead!
