I got some plays right today...
Hits:
OSIR
A flat open advanced early, the sported a nice afternoon fade for a winning short. It ended down almost 17.5% today.
SUPN
Another nice afternoon fade when a gap up advanced early, then began to slowly decline after lunch. That yielded a short. It lasted until the close, south by over 6% today.
NRGY
A 1 cent gap up slowly advanced and triggered near lunch. It closed off of the highs, but still up almost 1% today. This won for longs nominally.
Misses:
PCRX
Another fake out for shorts after a gap down bounced around the flat line early, then moved under the open after the noise candle. It greened late morning, and moved sideways the remainder, up over 2% today. Loss.
Push:
LXRX
Looks like a win on paper, but it's a push. A 1 cent gap down fell early, eventually greening but not making more new annual highs. It barely took out momentarily the initial high, then moved along the flat line most of the remainder, closing up over 1% today. No play.
PACB
No authentic trigger since the hod printed on the noise candle, and then the flat line held in an early challenge. The stock essentially moved sideways and negative most of the way, closing down almost 2% today. A no play push.
CRIS
A 2 cent gap up from the lod advanced from the outset, giving shorts no play. The lod held on a later challenge, and it rose more the remainder, en route to an up finish of over 3% today. A push.
