I got a few plays right on Monday...
Hits:
LODE
A gap up and near crap ensued shortly after the debut. Once it traded below the open, it was a short. After going red outright, it moved sideways the remainder, closing unchanged due to the gapper but a fade winner.
PIP
Another gap up and crap was even easier to play, though the levels were not ideal on the entry. After the noise candle which was also red, it continued to fade, yielding a short. It held flat line tests but then moved sideways into the close, up over 3% due to the gapper but a win on the idea and price action for acting shorts.
Misses:
VRNG
A gap up shook off early early weakness with a morning red to green move which also made new annual highs, which faked out longs. It fell hard back to red which might have stopped out some, then went back over green, then fell back to and hung around the flat line, closing up over 1% today for a likely loss.
OREO
A fake out loss for longs when this gap down advanced early and triggered, then fast faded and headed back down to the flat line area. It essentially held, but moved sideways into the finish, closing green by almost 5% today. That was likely under the entry level purchase.
Push:
MVIS
This moved up from the start a cent above the lod, so shorts never had a shot. It moved sideways and down a bit from then on, en route to a green finish of over 11% today.
PCX
This never got above the previous close so it never triggered, opening on a gap up that fell out of the box. It eventually bottomed somewhat after lunch, then rose into the afternoon/close but ended red by about 9.5% today. A no play push lacking a trigger.
FSM
Another push as this opened on a gap up and printed the hod on the noise candle, the next one opening on but not over trigger price which was the hod that fell at once. It gradually fell back under the flat line, and it did not recover until late afternoon, not equaling previous highs. Closed up a tad, a no play result.
