An easy win for shorts when a gap down near the hod fell early, yielding a fade. It held flat line challenges, and closed weakly to end down almost 13% today.
JMBA
A gap up with early weakness sported a timely red to green move for the entry long. It never looked back and ended up positive by almost 9% today for the winning buy.
DCTH
A gap up moved sideways over 2 and soon traded consistently over the open, yielding a long. It advanced until lunch, then moved straight across until it ended up 8.50 today. A win.
Misses:
NVAX
A fake out for shorts when a gap up advanced initially, but fell under the open and flat line a bit by lunch. It soon rebounded and closed up over 2.5% today. A loss.
RNN
Another fake out loss when a big gap up fell gradually from 30 minutes in. It fell under the open, but then it slowly recovered and ended up over 15% today. Never fell below the flat line, but a loss.
Push:
DRRX
A clear gap down discouraged shorts. It advanced off the gate, to seal the deal. Sideways moves nearly all day followed, and it fell under the open with a few minutes to go, too late for a fade. Ended red by almost 3% today but no play was possible. A push.
ASUR
A big gap down discouraged longs. It advanced from the gun and greened, dipping up and down around the flat line, finishing strong and over the trigger up over 2% today, but no play was likely. A push.
