I got a few plays right this Thursday...
Hits:
ZERO
A big fall on the noise candle complicated it, but shorts still banked here when this gap up near the hod rose after the 1st 5 minutes but did not take out the initial high and then fell back under the open. It was a fade entry then. It stayed red, recovering a bit into the close, but ended down by almost 5% today.
PWAV
A gap and crap from the hod yielded a short when this steadily decayed after the noise candle. It kept falling, ending south by over 19% today.
RDN
An easy win for shorts when this gap down from near the hod fell from the noise candle and beyond. A rebound eventually fell under the open which was a fade entry. It moved sideways and negative most of the way until a weak close finished it down by almost 5.5% today.
Misses:
EPAM
Arguably a push since few would have bit on this price action, but a loss in theory. A big gap down soon filled and triggered by amount, but no candle closed above it. It soon fell red and continued to slide, before gradually recovering into the close, triggering with 15 minutes remaining. It closed red by a hair.
Push:
FEED
A big gap down from the lod filled but the price action prevented short fake outs. Closed off of the highs, but still green by almost 2% today. Longs were out of the question here.
DOLE
A gap up and near crap ensued from the noise candle, after which it slowly recovered but only hung around the flat line most of the way. It closed south by over 0.5% today and longs never had an obvious play. Minimal range candles all day were not encouraging.
HZNP
A gap down debut never rose above the previous close, much less the trigger. It essentially doji printed and ended down over 0.5% today on a no play for longs. The falling price action early did not help.
