Trade review 9-7-12

I got some plays right on Friday...

Hits:

MTG

A home run for longs here as a gap up near the lod advanced from the debut. It closed weakly and off the highs but still north by over 11% today.

RDN

A big win for longs when this flat open weakened on the noise candle, then zoomed up and greened for entry over the trigger. It closed off the highs, but remained positive all day, closing up almost 7.5% today.

Misses:

VPHM

This was probably a push, but on paper it's a loss, since late in the going it finally hit under the trigger price. Closed above it, so on that coupled with commissions, it was a loser. Ended red by over 1% today.

Push:

DDMG

Fortunately the price action prevented bottom fishers from being burned long since this fell from the hod and never looked back, ending red by almost 42% today.

BDSI

The hod printed on the noise candle and it fell early and often from the open, preventing longs from being sucked in since a later rebound could not eclipse the initial high. Closed unchanged on a daily doji print.

HOV

Another daily doji print lacking a trigger, this survived an early flat line challenge and rose much of the way until the end, when it weakened and finished up almost 2% today on a no play push for shorts.

STEC

A no trigger as this gap down failed to reach our entry price for longs at any time during the session. It made more lows than highs, closing down by almost 1.5% today. No play and thus a push.

Off record pick NSPR continued to squeeze shorts nicely, it's fast becoming a target for a dump, though. It ended up from a lod advance over 6% today.

Totals:
Daily record: W-2-L-1-P-4
66%
