I got several of these things right on Thursday...
Hits:
ABFS
A clear gap down soared from the noise candle and continued, triggering for longs. It kept going then moved sideways, closing up over 5% today.
DGIT
A gap up advanced and triggered early after the noise candle. Then it moved sideways a while, before breaking ever higher near lunch. It moved sideways from there, closing up almost 6.5% today.
XNPT
It printed over the trigger on the useless noise candle, then it moved sideways and advanced to really trigger. The likely entry was enough cents below the end, it was probably a modest win. Up and down moves followed, and it closed strong and north by over 1.5% today.
HGSH
I KILLED this one! A big gap down rose steadily from the noise candle, triggering back over 1.10 about 20 minutes in. It just kept going all session, ending up over 146% today.
Misses:
OSTK
A clear fake out for shorts when a gap down fell after the noise candle and bottomed out 20 minutes in. Then it rebounded slowly all day, finishing no worse than flat or so on the session.
Push:
TAGG
A move up from a gap up after the noise candle denied shorts. It hit the flat line a time or 2 later, but could not get over the hump. An afternoon climb ensued and it ended up almost 6% today. A no play push.
GLDD
Good thing the price action and my rules for entry prevented longs. A gap up fell after the noise candle to prevent buys. It hung around the flat line all session, not making new highs, ending red by over 1% today.
