Trade review 12-4-12

I got some of these things right on Tuesday...

Hits:

CUAU

A very narrow win for shorts when a gap down fell on the noise candle, then rose at once and soon fell back under the opening price for the entry. A gentle fade ensued, and it ended south by over 8% today.

ANW

A very narrow win for longs when a gap up at the lod advanced out of the open steadily, triggering. It kept moving north slightly, ending up over 2.5% today.

IGR

A nice win for shorts as this gap down triggered after it moved below the target price after the noise candle. It kept that decay most of the way, save an early bounce that held the flat line and initial high, closing red by around 1.5% today.

Misses:

IRC

Looks like a win but with its price action more like a loss. A gap up advanced early and above the trigger, but decayed by late morning. It rose again, closing up by over 1% but likely under the entry.

ODP

A fake out loss for shorts when this flat debut gradually fell early on, triggering. It rose back up in the afternoon, closing down over 0.5% but likely above the sell entry point.

Push:

SFUN

A no play push when a gap up printed the hod on the noise candle, then fell at once back under the flat line. It continued to decline until near lunch, when it moved sideways into the finish, down almost 5.5% today.

CVO

A no play push for shorts when a gap down near the lod moved sideways after the noise candle for one stick, then rose to green. Retraces essentially held the flat line and the initial lows, and a steady climb ensued near lunch that ended up at least near 4% today.
