I got some plays right on this day...
Hits:
TELK
An ideal short on the 3 fail arose when a gap up almost held the previous session hod and printed the one for today on the noise candle, reddening in the 1st 5 minutes. It continued to dive, eventually moving sideways and ending south by at least 24.5% today.
Misses:
NTRI
Fake out likely long by early price action when a gap up advanced in the morning. It soon peaked, then fell back to and then under the flat line. It kept decaying, ending south by over 2% on Monday. A loss.
Push:
NEWL
The lod printed on the noise candle, and this likely did not trap any shorts since right after the aforementioned stick, it rose and greened at once. It fell into the finish, but still ended up over 7% today. A no play push.
BFCF
Looks like a win long, but if so it was a very narrow one or push with commissions. A gap up printed the lod on the noise candle, then rose early. It peaked in 30 minutes, then fell back down near the flat line, rose approaching lunch, then moved sideways, ending up over 4.5% today.
BTX
Another no play push for shorts, when a gap up advanced out of the open beyond the noise candle. Upwards and sideways moves followed, and it ended up almost 6% today.
PWER
Longs were almost but not quite faked out here when a gap down printed the hod on the noise candle, not getting over 4.55. It moved sideways and just positive briefly, then fell under the flat line for good. Bottoming in the afternoon, it rose a bit into the close, still negative by over 2.5% today. Another no play push.
PERI
Shorts avoided fake out with this price action, when a flat debut fell on the noise candle, and the next one rose to green. The next one fell, but the initial lows held and it immediately rose over the flat line for good. After peaking in an hour, it fell a bit and moved sideways and up, ending up almost 3% today. A push.
