A gap up open from the hod from and well after the noise candle, yielding an early short. It bottomed in 35 minutes and rose thereafter, but closed down over 5.5% for at least a likely modest win on Friday.
SPWR
Nice short when a gap down fell under the open early after the noise candle for the entry. Bounces failed to green and it moved sideways the remainder, closing south by over 3.5% on Friday.
P
Nice B/O win for longs as suspected when a gap down moved sideways until afternoon, when it went red to green for good, closing up over 4.5% on Friday.
Misses:
HOTT
A fake out loss for longs when a gap up advanced beyond the noise candle, triggering. It rapidly peaked and moved sideways, gradually decaying and and going red slightly. It closed down over 1% on Friday.
EWT
A clear gap down may have discouraged some shorts, but this one could have faked out early sellers with its price action. It moved sideways early, then under the open. But near lunch it began to steadily rally back, closing above the initial price but still negative on Friday due to the gapper.
Push:
OPK
A no play push likely when this gap up doji printed and rose following the noise candle. It peaked near lunch and decayed a bit, but ended up over 3% on Friday.
PLXT
A no play push lacking a trigger when a 1 cent gap down essentially moved sideways along the flat line all session, closing down nominally on Friday.
