Trade review 5-1-13

I got a few plays right on this session...

Hits:

WX

A likely winning short when a gap down rose after the noise candle, greening. But it soon fell back under the flat line and opening price for entry. It ended south by over 1% today.

Misses:

PTIE

A fake out loss likely for shorts on early weakness when a gap up fell under the open and flat line early for entry. It rose to the gap line by afternoon, moving along it and ending up about 0.50% today.

Push:

VSH

A gap down near the hod fell after early sideways moves under the flat line, denying longs a play. It ended down about 4% today. 

NGD

A gap down moved up and down under the flat line, never triggering. It closed south by over 3% today.

ODP

Another no play push when a gap down advanced briefly, but did not trigger. It then fell steadily until after lumch, when it rose but ended down almost 3% today. Longs never had an entry.

CODE

Another no play push long when this gap down moved sideways initially, then steadily fell. It bottomed in the afternoon, moved up a tad and closed south by over 5.5% today.

ONB

Another no play push lacking a trigger for longs when a gap down rose initially, but did not rise enough. It then steadily declined until after lunch, whereupon it moved up somewhat, finishing red by over 3.5% today.
