Trade review 5-20-13

I got no picks right on Monday...

Hits:

None.

Misses:

LIWA

A fake out loss long likely here when a gap up rose slowly early and greened. It then moved sideways, and made more highs after lunch. But it closed weakly, and up less than 1% at best. A loss on commissions.

QLYS

A fake out loss likely when a gap down fell early, bottoming in about 40 minutes. It then slowly rose, then moved sideways and flat under the gap line, closing down over 1.5% today. This likely is above entry.

IDIX

Some prospective longs were faked out here given the price action. A flat debut rose on the noise candle, but the next 2 sticks fell and did not make new highs. Then it fell under the trigger, but the next stick closed above it. Then it fell under the flat line, moving sideways and a bit down to end south by over 2.5% today.

SIMO

A fake out loss likely when a gap down rose on the noise candle and the next one, to trigger. It then fell to the flat line, held, and rose again for a time. A weak closed ened it up less than 1% today. Commission loss.

ENI

Another early fake out long off a gap down that rose on the noise candle. It then moved sideways and closed above the trigger. Then it slowly decayed to and below the flat line, closing south over 0.50% today.

Push:

RSOL

A big gap up negated any reasonable entry. It moved straight and a bit down initially, then marched up solidly, denying shorts a play. Ended up over 50% today.

GTI

This flat debut fell on the noise candle, then advanced, denying potential shorts any play. It rose until lunch, then moved sideways and a bit down, finishing on an upbeat and up over 3% today.
