Trade review 5-29-13

I got some of these things right on Wednesday...

Hits:

FNMA

A big win short when a gap up advanced strongly early, before peaking 40 minutes in and reversing. It fell under the open and flat line for entry before lunch. A flat line challenge held, and it closed red by over 27.5% today.

FMCC

Same story here. Similar price action and short entry point. It ended red by over 27.5% today.

TGIC

Another nice short when a gap up moved sideways along the flat line but fell soon after for entry. Before lunch it decayed in earnest, never recovering and closing south by over 22% today.

QUAN

A fine short win when a gap up fell from the noise candle and beyond, yielding the short. A reversal held the flat line by 40 minutes in, and it resumed falling, going sideways into the finish, south by over 18% today.

Misses:

BLDP

This looks like a win long but it's likely a loss with the price action yielding an entry point above where it closed. Peaked in 10 minutes, faded the remainder, ending up over 7.5% but that's deceptive via gap/entry.

VNDA

Fake out possible at the entry point suggested for shorts and on a gap line breech after the noise candle. Erratic moves along the flat line with  some rise into the close, which was up by over 0.50% today.

Push:

GMO

A no play push lacking a trigger long. This gap down filled to the flat line, then failed there and resumed descent. Bottoming before lunch, it rose slowly the remainder, but ended down almost 2%.
