Trade review 5-8-13

I got a few plays right on Wednesday...

A winning long off a gap up that fell from the open, then moved along under the flat line until afternoon, when it triggered. Moving up a bit more, it ended positive by around 2.5% or so.

A fine long when a gap up advanced after a weak noise candle, triggering. Ended up over 24% today.

Fake out likely when a gap down rose early, then fell below the debut for entry short. It soon reversed, failed at the flat line but closed above the entrance price and red by 1% or more.

Fake out possible when a gap fell on the noise candle under the trigger sell. It printed above that on candle 2 but any early entry could have lost. It then rose to and beyond the flat line, ending up around 0.50% today.

A gap down gradually fell under the flat line, not yielding a long. It rose off lows, ending red by 3%+ today.

No fake out for shorts when a gap up rose from the noise candle and beyond, closing up around 12% today.

A gap down rose initally after a weak noise candle, but just missed triggering long. Up and down moves along the flat line ensued, and it ended mostly unchanged. No play.
