Trade review 5-9-13

I got a few plays right on Thursday...

A win for shorts after early upside led to an afternoon fade, with the gap down diving under the open and flat line for entry. Closed off lows, but still red by over 20% today.

A winning long when a gap up from the lod advanced after the noise candle for entry. A retrace held the flat line, and it advanced steadily, finishing up around 10.5% today.

A nominal win short likely when a gap up fell on the noise candle, rose, and then fell back under the open and flat line for entry. Bottoming after lunch, it rose and even greened, but the initial high held and it fell into the close, ending south by around 0.50%.

A big win long off soaring price action early after the noise candle. It peaked in 30 or so minutes and decayed from there, but ended postive by almost 62% today.

A fake out long likely when a gap down rose initially, then moved sideways just under the flat line. It rose over and triggered over lunch. Then it moved sideways and down, ending red by 3% or so. A loss.

Fake out loss likely when a gap up after the noise candle to trigger long. It soon peaked and headed back to and under the flat line. Staying negative, it ended south by over 0.50% today.

A win for shorts if they played on the price action under the opening price after the noise candle, but the gap down was too big, having opened well under the trigger. No play push. Closed red by over 12.5% today.
