Trade review 6-19-13

I got some plays right on Wednesday...

Hits:

LUVE

A winning short off a gap up from near the hod that fell from the noise candle and beyond for entry. It  bottomed after lunch, moving sideways into the finish, south by over 55% today.

BEE

A nominal win short likely when a gap up rose initially, then fell back to the flat line. It went under late morning for entry. Hugging the flat line, it moved over but held under the previous session high to prevent stop outs. Then it closed weakly and down nominally, but likely just under the entrance point.

LNCO

A big win long when a gap up advanced steadily after the noise candle for entry. It kept climbing slowly most of the way, en route to an up finish of around 5.5% today.

Misses:

AMCC

A fake out loss long likely when a gap down advanced and greened/triggered early. It peaked in 40 minutes, then steadily fell back to and under the gap line. Moving sideways and a bit up, it ended down over 1%.

Push:

PGRX

A flat debut fell from the hod, not triggering long. It bounced but held under the flat line, ending red by over 12% today. No play.

ATHX

Another no play push when a gap up from the hod fell from the noise candle and beyond, not triggering long. It broke under the flat line for good at lunch, and ended south by around 3% today.

CYTK

A no play push likely when a big gap up discouraged entries. It fell on the noise candle hard but failed to go under the short trigger. It rose a bit, but could never take out the initial highs. A slow decline ensued, but it never triggered for fades, closing down over 3.5% today.
