Trade review 7-9-13

I got a few picks right on this session...

Hits:

JE

A nominal win long with commissions assuming entry on the candle that overtook the opening stick. A gap up fell initially, held the flat line, then triggered near lunch. It rose gently into the finish, up around 2% today.

XXII

A big gap up fell hard and reddened on the noise candle, then rebounded. But a 2nd entry short triggered late morning. Another bounce held the flat line essentially, and it closed weakly red by over 6% today.

Misses:

NVAX

A fake out loss likely when  a flat debut fell from the noise candle, triggering on the follow up stick but any entry short even at the high of it lost assuming commissions, etc. Ended south by around 1% today.

FMBI

A gap up moved sideways initially, then down and under the flat line to trigger for shorts. It soon bottomed then recovered to the flat line, closing almost unchanged which means entries were faked out.

ARTH

A possible fake out long when a gap up advanced over the trigger beyond the noise candle early. It mostly moved sideways from there and barely down, closing at 1.30 up almost 4% but likely under entry a tad.

Push:

FMD

This appears to be a win, but it's more likely a push. A gap down fell initially, then moved sideways much of the way. It soared into the close, but did not trigger until 15 minutes only remained, so most would have kept flat. Ended up over 4% today.

KNDI

A push for potential longs who did not have a play. A clear gap up rose on the noise candle, but fell from there, with the next stick closing under the trigger. It fell under the flat line, closing down by over 3% today.
