Trade review 12-24-13

I got a few plays right on Tuesday...

Hits:

STAA

Except for the noise candle, this rose steadily triggering early. It  closed up over 3.5% Tuesday.

BWEN

After early moves up, this reversed and yielded a short. Another reversal held the stop and returned back under the flat line, ending down over 1.5% Tuesday.

CBZ

A gap down fell early, but triggered long in 65 minutes. Rising slowly, it ended up over 1% today for the win.

Misses:

LUNA

Early upside could easily have faked out longs after it triggered. Fast peaking, it headed back to the flat line and closed unchanged Tuesday.

NVAX

Triggering short on candle 2, this gap up reversed and greened for good soon after, ending up over 0.50% on Tuesday.

Push:

TGRO

This gap up rose initially, soon moving sideways and down, not yielding a short. It closed up almost 14.5% on Tuesday.

ACHN

Save for the gap up noise candle, no close above the trigger on subsequent candles avoided fake outs for potential longs. It ended down over 2% on Tuesday.
