Trade review 8-27-14

I got some of them right on Wednesday...

Hits:

DGLY

A gap down rose and filled, then reversed and triggered once it fell under the open. It kept going, ending down over 19.5% today.

JRJC

A gap down advanced early but near lunch fell under the open and flat line to trigger. It kept going, ending down almost 7% today.

HGSH

A gap down rose after the noise candle, but soon reversed, triggering short after falling under the open early on. It kept falling, ending down almost 15.5% today.

VII

A gap down fell early steadily for entry and kept going. Ended down over 16% today to win short.

Misses:

PHK

A fake out loss long on a trigger late morning from this gap up which fell to the flat line, hugging it until ending up just barely and almost unchanged today.

Push:

AFFY

Entry on candle 2 won slightly or pushed after this gap down fell much of the early going and rose steadily into the finish. Ended down over 7% in part due to the gapper.

PT

A big gap up discouraged long entries. It moved sideways most of the way, ending up 6% mostly due to the gapper.
