I got some of my picks right on Friday...
Hits:
NRF
Nice early red to green after some initial nominal noise. We also got our 6 test. Nice volume as this closed up over 5% on Friday above 6.
EERG
Easy fade from the gun as this fell for the first 30 minutes trading under the opening price level after the first 5 minutes. It then went sideways most of the rest of the day to close red by over 11.5% for the session.
AMZG
Longs banked again as it inched as usual, gradually climbing all day into the close, which was positive by nearly 4.5% on Friday.
Misses:
FONR
Some could have been faked out here as it fell after the first 5 minute noise candle, soon going red to green for good. It opened near the lod, but the next 10 minutes were deceptive prior to the green fest. Closed positive over 6.5% on Friday.
CROX
A big gap and crap here. It fell from near the open fast and hard. After an hour of decline, it tried to rally but that failed to green. A weak finish helped it to close negative by over 2% on Friday. Yes, I said it could gap and crap and test 19, it did both, but I was quite long biased, and so I am taking loss lumps here anyway.
Push:
BDCO
Big sized gap down compromised easy early entries. It filled, then fast went red again for good. Despite a theoretically correct entry which proved successful, it is arguably a push and not win due to this gap ride. Closed negative by nearly 10% on Friday after even decay all day. Some probably banked, but I am honest.
ROYL
Shorts never really got a convincing entry signal here, despite closing red by a bit less than 1 half of 1 percent on Friday. A big gap up hindered an entry. It did fairly gradually fade the rest of the session to close the gap and exceed it narrowly, but this was hardly worth more than a push considering the price action to get there.
