Trade review 4-8-11

I got some of them right on Friday...

Hits:

BORK

This fell out of the gate, off a gap down, all morning. It went sideways and slightly up the rest of the way, to close red by over 23% on Friday.

IMGN

A solid gap up open filled, even slightly reddening early, but immediately went red to green for the long entry cue and then slowly advanced over most of the session to close positive by over 2.5% on Friday.

Misses:

DBLE

This looks like a push with its daily doji print finish, but it closed barely red and whipsaw faked out longs. Opening flat, it advanced early, then dipped back negative. Then it greened again and held a while, but closed weakly to end down less than 1 half of 1 percent. Might still work out for long swings, but it's a fair loss.

Push:

GSDC

This opened flat, and began to sideways move up, never giving shorts a chance to enter, with the lod being nearby and printed near the start. It kept rising, finishing green by over 18.5% on Friday. A flat stance here.

LEXG

A clear gap up did not bode well for shorts. It closed the gap, but never went below the flat line for the fade entry, and quickly rebounded. It remained strong all day, closing green by over 6% on Friday. Obviously flat.

PIR

Big gap up and crap. It fell right out of the gate from near the hod. Many "losses" are possible to avoid entry on altogether by learning to read live price action and via following simple entry rules, as here. This one mostly gradually decayed, and even went solidly red, closing south by over 1.5% on Friday.

SETS

Gap up open advanced clearly from the gun, so I would have kept flat here. It pulled back later all the way to the flat line, but held on and advanced again the rest of the way, closing up by over 16.5% on Friday.
