Trade review 8-15-11

I got some of them right today...

Hits:

MOBI

An easy win for longs as this opened near the lod on a gap down and went red to green early for the entry. It continued to rise, but ultimately closed under the highs, but still positive and over the likely entry point by over 4% today.

MOTR

Another easy win for longs as a gap down near the lod steadily advanced in the morning for the entry. It closed under the highs but likely over the entry point and positive by over 24% today.

Misses:

PUNK

A loss due to an early fake out. It traded under the opening price level after 5 minutes, then came roaring back to go green. Then it kept going up and how. Closed north almost 41.5% today. Take losses early!

Push:

PCFG

A gap up and crap from the hod prevented longs from losing money, but this did not work out for buyers. It fast fell green to red and kept tanking, closing south by over 4% today though it ended off the lows. A push.

IDIX

This looks like a win, but it's a push. A gap up crapped at once. When it finally challenged the open again, it failed right at that price, so no long was ever possible according to my type of rules. Closed up by nearly 3% today.

CAST

A gap up and crap prevented losses for potential longs, but it resulted in a no play. It soon went red, and kept mostly just a bit under the flat line the whole way. Closed negative by 1% today.

GEDU

Another boring no play as this opened right on 5 and could not advance. It remained unchanged for a while, then moved drearily down. No entry possible but it closed nominally positive due to the gapper.

Totals:
Daily record: W-2 L-1-P-4

66%
