This played out well enough when a gap down fell early for the entry short, then it challenged the flat line and it held. Even, gentle decay followed and it closed below the probable entering point, red by over 10.5% today.
VGZ
This eventually worked after early weakness that prevented any long fake outs. It spent most of the day recovering, but not overtaking, the flat line. It closed strong and the cross in the last hour was an entry. The earlier lows easily held and it closed north by over 3% today.
HA
A gap up fell soon after but longs were not trapped due to the price action sequence. A fast red to green for the entry followed, and it moved up all day, closing positive by over 5% today.
Misses:
CONN
Eager shorts could have been faked out here a few times early when 8 was penetrated. It did not last, though. A bouncy ride ended green by over 2% today.
CIIC
Another fake out under 1 that did not hold. Annoying consolidation, but the afternoon fade portion could have lost money here when it recovered into the close. Green finish by nearly 2% today.
Push:
JAMN
A no play without a trigger as this fell from near the start, not taking the flat line at any time. It closed alright after an all day slide, but not enough. Red finish by nearly 2.5% today.
LSTG
An easy loss to avoid on a no play. This gap up and immediate crap soon rebounded, but the initial high held after the flat line was briefly retaken. Closed south by over 2% today.
