Trade review 9-19-11

I got some of them right on Monday...

Hits:

NEP

Promotions are nice, like this one. 2nd day gravy was easy when a gap up and crap morning panic style dumped to red out of the gate from the hod. Closed south over 5.5% today. One of the highest percentage plays to take originates from play set ups as seen here! After the dump it went sideways, but it did not matter.

SKUL

An easy win when a gap down from the lod went red to green early for the long. The initial lows easily held, and it closed strong to end up over 4% today.

Misses:

XTXI

A great play ruined as some shorts could have been faked out on the early dive, despite the gap down debut. It panicked early, but spent most of the day recovering, eventually closing south a bit less than 4% today but probably above the likely entry point.

Push:

TSPT

A gap up soon fell under the flat line for an entry, but the probable point of that was only a cent or 2 above where it closed, which was down less than 0.5% today. This means it about broke even after commissions.

SELR

Longs had no chance when a gap up moved north from the beginning. It later peaked and fell back to the flat line, but no more. Finished unchanged for an obvious no play.

ONNN

Clear gap down discouraged shorts, though the likely entry point was a cent or so above the eventual close down over 2.5% today. A long recovery followed early drops. After commissions a wash probably resulted.

INSM

A no play when this opened on a gap down and could barely hit 5. It never triggered, staying in the red zone for most of way until it closed south by nearly 4.5% today.
