I got some plays right on this day...
Hits:
LCC
An easy win for shorts when this gap down advanced early and sported a green to red move in the morning. It retested the flat line a few times but could not challenge the previous highs at all and soon headed down for good. Closed south by over 3% today.
Misses:
NVTL
The price action here was such it that it could have faked out longs. A gap down fill moved up early and soon went over the trigger. It did not last, though. Shortly after drawing longs in, it headed back under the flat line for good. A gradual decline followed with sideways moves into the close, red by over 3.5% today.
Push:
CMXI
The good thing is this opened right near the hod and fell near out of the open. After going green to red, it meandered a while and tested the flat line at lunch and failed. It overtook it in the afternoon, but only reached the previous highs briefly and could not take 0.70 and closed weakly unchanged from the previous finish. A no play for prospective longs.
RTK
No fake out of shorts fortunately when this gap down fell only on the noise candle, then zoomed up and filled, going red to green with gradual climbing all day. Closed positive by over 9.5% today.
PIP
No fake out on this no play that opened on a gap up over the previous close but at the hod which immediately crapped. One early retest of the initial high of the noise candle and it headed back under the flat line for good, flattening out in the afternoon but still ending red by over 4.5% today.
MITI
This looks like a win, since it closed negative by nearly 2.5% today. But it could not be exploited by shorts since the gap down fell on the noise candle, then rose at once and tried to fill the gap. It failed at the flat line, but never took out the previous lows for a fade entry. A no play.
VVTV
This gap down failed to trigger, so no play arose for longs. It tried to fill early and failed, heading back under and meandering south all day, en route to a red finish of nearly 3.5% today.
