Watchers for the 12-8-11 trading session

AMR

Supernovae, still maturing. See my previous comments, still in effect for entries/exits/trade management angles. Volume even peaking today on the buy side. I'd like to see a dump back under a buck, but it may have more.

MIND

New 52's. Short term, these yearly high stocks usually go higher. Consistently strong price action, like trading above the opening price level after the first 5 minutes, is a long. Or, if it gaps down a bit to debut or opens flat and falls briefly, a red to green and hold with strong volume. Also long on spiking up at or near the gun as a scalp. This might be an EOD exit, depending on how it holds up. Also long on a break above to new yearly highs (over 20.57) and holds. Avoid shorts/big gaps keep flat on true weakness. Volume huge Wednesday, a poor sign for new buys. Needs to keep above the Wednesday close or at least over 19.00 on pull backs to remain viable as a long, aside from any early noise. No A/H quote change.

AMWI

This sucker is setting up a mother of all shorts soon. Let's hope it does not prove to be the mother of all short squeezes before it obtains enough seasoning! Now up again over 50% after days of upswings, the OTC ripper is bound to sell off soon or later. A fade entry on confirmed weakness cues or panic dumps at any time. No longs, but many probably thought it was done days ago, and look where we are now. A gap and crap might require some top fish selling, I fear. Box and drop if you fear not getting shares or risk squeezes. A short covering rally might arise for a bounce on the wash out if it squeezes them to death for a long, too.

LEI

Bearish Engulfing. I like it short below the low of Wednesday. Big volume on the drop, which is a poor sign for new sellers. Keep flat on real strength aside from a typical green to red move, etc. Stops just above the high last time or the initial 30 minute one on Thursday. More conservatively a stop placed above Wednesday's close, too. The high on that day is arguably not too far away to use for risk control via stops. Ideally keeps under 2.60 on any pull ups to remain viable as a short. Avoid all big gaps/longs. No A/H quote.

STAA

Red floater scan return. Idea is to play for more, better down side on day 2. Closed down on Wednesday almost 1% via a gap down but below the open. Stop just above the previous day session high (11.17) to cap losses on head fake fade entries. More conservatively, stop above the close on Wednesday if it starts off net negative. I'm only into the shorting possibility if it surfaces, keeping flat on strength. Also a short on heavy volume dumps/confirmed weakness cues. Low selling volume on Wednesday which means it may have decent chances for shorts. No A/H quote. Avoid all big gaps, especially large gap down ones.

TEA

Bullish Engulfing. I like this long over the high of Wednesday. Modest volume on the rise, which is a fair sign for new buyers. Keep flat on real weakness aside from a typical red to green move, etc. Stops just under the low last time or the initial 30 minute one on Thursday. More conservatively a stop placed under Wednesday's close, too. The low on that day is arguably a bit too far away to use for risk management via stops. Ideally stays above 17.00 on pull backs to remain viable as a long. No big gaps or shorts. No A/H quote change.

PRMW

B/O scan. I like it long back over 3.18 and holds. Ideal to stay over that on tests aside from early noise if it triggers. Stops also possible just under the close on Wednesday or the 1st 30 minute low of Thursday. Avoid all shorts and all big gaps. The low on Wednesday is arguably not too far away to use for risk managing stops. Also a long on spiking up at or near the gun as a scalp. Modest volume on the rise, a fair sign for new buys. No A/H quote. Needs to hold 3 on any pull back to remain viable as a long.

Off table, the halted dropper I Tweeted about THQI is down even more A/H. It's a possible bouncer long from possibly misguided bargain hunters off a dead cat bounce. Bottom fishing likely required to catch the falling knife, so be careful if contemplating this at all if and when it resumes trading.
