Watchers for the 6-17-11 trading session

RITT

A 1st red day Supernovae today that instead advanced. I'm treating it like a bump in the road maturing one, with the usual analysis. Fade confirmed weakness cues or morning panic like dumps wherever they arise and keep flat on positive price action. Up A/H over 3.5% so a gap and crap or parabolic move and decay is possible. I prefer the crapper as the other means top fishing to fade. Ideal is modest gap up or down or flat open then a head south to short. Avoid all big gaps. Volume on the buy side is declining, a good sign at least.

GBTR

First red day Supernovae. Finished down 31% last time, so more down side might not be realistic. If it had fallen much less than 10% then more could be expected as plausible. Always watch day 2 of a busted one. The plan is to play for more reddening on day 2. Conditional entry. A flat, nominally green or red open that immediately sells off on heavy volume or sports traditional confirmed weakness cues is a fade entry. Keep flat on high volume greening or strength, especially early. This is a lot more likely given the high degree of reddening on Thursday. No A/H quote. Avoid entries as a short on big gaps up or down, but down is probably worse. Keep flat on consistently strong price action, like trading above the opening price level. Avoid spike up long scalps, too. Selling volume was medium, but not range. A mixed bag for shorts, here.

FRM

I like this long on a continuation (of momentum) play over 8.11 and holds. 52's at 8.60 seen on April 5. Long over that, too. Obviously, aside from early noise or a typical red to green move this needs to hold 8 on a test to remain/be viable as a long. Also a long on spiking up at or near the bell for a long scalp. Keep flat on real weakness or a fall fail at 8 if tested. Avoid all big gaps, as usual. No A/H quote.

RYUN

Having weakened nominally, I hope for gravy here and real reddening. Up barely A/H this might yield and early green to red or even a gap and crap with a fail at the flat line to fade into. Keep flat on more positive price action, like printing above the opening price level after the noise candle. It sold off into the close today, and it might break on Friday. Avoid all big gaps. Short on consistent prices under the close of today after the 1st 5 minutes of the session next time, or as a scalp fade on heavy volume dump at or near the gun.

ALTH

I like this long on a continuation (of momentum) play over 2.10 and 2.20 with strong volume. Obviously, aside from early noise or a typical red to green move this needs to hold 2 on a test to remain/be viable as a long. Also a long on spiking up at or near the bell for a long scalp. Keep flat on real weakness or a fall fail at 2 if tested. Avoid all big gaps, as usual. No A/H quote.

LPSN

I like this long on a continuation (of momentum) play over 12.22 with strong volume. Low volume on the rise, a good sign for new buyers. It needs to punch through and hold 12 on a test to remain/be viable as a long. Possible early red to green long entry if it opens weak. Also a long on spiking up at or near the bell for a long scalp. Keep flat on real weakness or a fall fail at 12 if tested. Avoid all big gaps, as usual. No A/H quote.

ICLK

New 52's are in reach at 7.59 so if we do on Friday, it's analyzed like a typical achieved one. Short term, these yearly high stocks usually go higher. Consistently strong price action, like trading above the opening price level after the first 5 minutes, is a long. Or, if it gaps down a bit to debut or opens flat and falls briefly, a red to green and hold with strong volume. Also long on spiking up at or near the gun as a scalp. This might be an EOD exit, depending on how it holds up. Also long on a break above to new yearly highs and holds. No A/H quote. Avoid shorts, keep flat on true weakness. Nice move today, but with big volume 2 days running which is not a good sign for new longs. Needs to keep above the Thursday close or at least over 7.45 on pull backs to remain viable as a long, aside from any early noise. Consistent pricing above 7.50 is the ticket here.

Off record, keep watching POTG for a fade on heavy volume selling or confirmed weakness cues. Too late for longs, it's up A/H even more so just wait it out.
