Trade review 7-6-11

I got some of them right on this day...

Hits:

IXMD

A flat open mostly advanced all day, en route to a green finish of almost 3.5% today.

BORN

A dead level perfect B/O over 6 as this just soared all morning. It peaked near lunch and went sideways most of the remainder, positive by over 18% today. It even surpassed 7 during the day.

Misses:

TBSI

A clear loss as this flat open fell evenly the first 1/2 hour, trapping shorts who entered. It then spent the rest of the day climbing and even greening, closing north by over 2.5% today.

BPI

Another loss as this gap down gradually filled and greened, triggering at our entry level. It closed weak and ended up finishing up only nominally, but under the entrance point.

Push:

SNOFF

A daily doji print on a sizable gap down discouraged shorts. This fell even more out the gate, quickly bottomed and bounced predictably. It never greened so longs were out, too, although I would have kept flat on such an event. Closed higher than it opened but still down by over 9% today due to the gapper. A no play.

LTUM

Another no play as this opened at the hod on a gap up which crapped at once. It never longs a chance with steady declining for the 1st hour, followed by sideways movement into the close, south by over 17.5% today.

CNTF

A gap down filled at once, and immediately stalled at the flat line early on. It printed a cent over the close then immediately opened negative on the following candle, denying longs a play. The decay kept up all morning, when just before lunch it began a rise that lasted into the close. It failed to retake the flat line, closing south by nearly 2.5% today. Another no play.
